Miles Together creates opportunities for people to move together in support of civil rights, equity, and social justice. Exercise is empowering. Exercising together to support issues that matter is both empowering and impactful.
On April 22nd 2023 (Earth Day), we are organizing a movement in support of environmental action. Everyone can participate, no matter where you live!

- Choose your team. Join the Miles Together team or create your own. Minimum registration fee is $20 per entrant (although additional donations are most appreciated).
- Choose how you move. Walk, Run, Bike, Swim, Row, Wheelchair, Skateboard…. Any mode works as long as we all move forward together.
- Choose your miles and your route. Set your own personal distance challenge for the day. We will track committed miles of all entrants to showcase the total distance traveled together to support environmental action.
- Amplify your impact. Although $20 is the minimum registration fee, those who have capacity to raise more can amplify their impact. All net proceeds will be directed to 350.org, an environmental organization working to reduce the world’s reliance on fossil fuels in 188 different countries. A Miles Together hat will be given to any individual who raises $100 or more.
The theme of Earth Day for 2023 is “Invest In Our Planet”. Let’s spend time outside with friends and family walking, biking, running, swimming, moving in any way while investing in the place we all call home.
Help spread the word through Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. Share with friends far and wide, so every state is connected by our Miles Together.
